I am sure most of you have heard of the Westboro Baptist Church (Hate Group) that goes around picketing the funerals of fallen soldiers, sings songs like “God Hates America” and have flyers saying “God Hates Fags.” I stumbled across a video today from BBC that did a documentary on the church and family. If you have a spare 58 minutes you should watch it and post what you think or post up your favorite quotes.
Favorite quotes…
The interviewer asks one of the boys if their protest at a funeral went well that day and was a 10/10…he replied… “Yeah, God did this therefore its perfect.”
“…Natural disasters and similar things are going to get more and worse- its gonna be awesome.”
“Your gonna eat your babies!”
Luckily they don’t plan on reproducing considering it would all be incestuous, so we are good to go.
Also, even though Fred Phelps is the patriarchal leader of the church, his daughter and 2 granddaughters head up a majority of there hate. I’m not gonna say what I’m thinking, buy most of you know….

And pretty much all of the candidates have one thing that each of them refer to when talking about every issue in order to look good or appeal to a weird demographic (like Kerry’s Purple Hearts 4 years ago).
Mitt Romney = Winter Olympics
Giuliani = 9/11 (even though I don’t think he mentioned it last night, he will tomorrow)
Paul = Liberty
McCain = POW/Veteran
Hunter = WTF is Hunter?
Tancredo = Immigration
Huckabee = has no shot, but is still pretty smart
Thompson = wants to be the next Regan
