So that whole posting a blog everyday thing failed due to my weekend….

My awesome lady-friend and some other friends came into town this weekend by surprise so we were all chilling and I didn’t really have much time to sit down and collect my thoughts. I should have something good tomorrow.

Chapter 3 of Keller’s book is entitled Christianity is a Straighkacket. In this chapter, the main issues at hand are that communities will be unavoidably exclusive to some effect, it make take some restraint to be free, and that Christianity isn’t culturally rigid. People are always jabbing at Christianity and saying that it is unfairly exclusive and that it needs to be a community open to all, despite beliefs or practices. (more…)

I just got back from Kentucky and I have another Book Review addition for tomorrow. Its about halfway done and should be up by tomorrow night.

So I just got back from the west coast… it was a great trip.. I have like 8 rolls of film to get developed and tons of other fun stuff to share. Basically the past 12 hours have been what I would like to call, similar to that of of hades. (more…)

In his book The Reason For God, Tim Keller gives a philosophical and biblical argument for many questions the world has posed concerning the existence of God. The introduction to the book is incredible. Keller tells the religious to questions their beliefs and for the skeptics to test their own, this produces a more knowledgeable people-group, which Keller hopes will ultimately point to Jesus. Ok, well I was watching Past Mark Driscoll online and today he was talking about the Cross and a few weeks ago when I hung out with my friend Jimmy, we touched on the topic of penal substitutionary atonement.
