I want a multi-touch trackpad…. and an LED backlit display… and a 2.6ghz processor….

oh well… when my computer has served me well I will move on… but for now its more than enough.

It was basically about the sermon on the mount… but this is what really got me… we read the whole sermon from THE MESSAGE… it is pretty much crazy in this translation and punches you in the face…

So the other day on our way to take our Geology test, Lauren and I were asked to do an interview… and being the nice guy I am I asked them how long it would take and what the topic would be, so i could see if it was worth considering… she told me it was about God so I was like “sure, why not…” Well.. I’m an idiot. So they have me read this little disclaimer saying that they can use my footage for whatever they want, blah blah blah… The lady begins out with “Ryan, do you know where you are going to go when you die?” *in my head I am praying that this isn’t the way of the master people…* and I said “Yes, I am going to heaven.”

“Why Ryan?”

“Because Jesus….etc…”

“Well Ryan, how would you rate your relationship with God right now on a scale from 1-5″ *Keep in mind she is reading this whole thing off of a piece of paper and matching my answers to the responses written on the paper… is it really that hard to talk to someone about God?*

“About a 3.5″ *working on a 10 point scale is way better….*

“well Ryan, would you like to turn up the heat on that flame” *wow….*

“Umm.. sure, why not?”

“Well just pray with me”

“Ok” *I’m expecting her to pray for me and strength and such…*

“Just repeat after me” *oh crap… what is going on?* “Dear Jesus…”

“Dear Jesus”

“Come into my heart” *wow… so yeah… at this point I was in such a shock of her stupidity, I didn’t even know what to do… I was so confused I just went with it… meanwhile.. lauren is off to the side laughing her face off*

“thank you for saving me…. sin… resurrection… believe… amen… Well Ryan, can I have your email?”

“Why?”

“Well you just rededicated your life to the Lord”

“No I didn’t” *Meanwhile I’m still caught up in my new found saving grace *rolls eyes* so i write down my email without thinking*

Lauren- “I don’t think you understand, we’re Christians”

“Oh…”

*walks away….*
